Unexpected macOS prompt

Hosting does not require Full Disk Access, Accessibility or Screen Recording. Internet-download and background-activity notifications can appear. If an unexpected password or permission prompt appears, cancel it and ask your inviter for help with its wording. Do not send passwords, private keys or tokens.

Website or SSH is unavailable

Check that the Mac is awake and online, Linux is running, public access is enabled, and the account has access and data remaining. Then check the application in the local Linux terminal. A ready HTTPS certificate alone does not mean an application is responding.

If the app and panel disagree, return to the panel and look for a refresh error or a pending relay confirmation. Do not delete and recreate the VM to fix a connection status problem.

Setup or restart failed

Check free disk space and your Internet connection. Keep the existing VM and its files. Retry the failed step after correcting the issue; if it repeats, provide your inviter with the error text and app version, with secrets removed.

Do not disable SSH host verification after a changed-fingerprint warning. Compare the identity through the local Linux terminal before trusting the new connection.
